Comments : Served as ASWO aboard sister ship off Vietnam '67-'68. Heard of Arnheiter from crew members who said former CO of LOWE tried some of the wardroom antics but not the more egregious things. They were glad he was gone before I got there. Read Sheehan's book, which confirmed what I had been told. LOWE had a great CO while I was aboard (Sam Reszetar). He's part of why I stayed for 30 years, mostly as a drilling reserve. My condolences to all of you who lived through Arnheiter.
