I have been trying to get comp for agent orange for 2 1/2 yrs with no luck.
Just filed appeal, will see what happens. We were anchored on Siagon river giving NGFS. Could see spraying, and could smell it, it also left oily residue on deck. WE were hit 3/25/67 2 hits that day, radar room & Asroc Magazine. Rocket motor on 1 Asroc misslie ignited no casuality that day. In December same year took another hit KIA 2 WIA 3 that day. Full story in book called Broken Arrow II. We were carrying 2 Nuclear waeheads. Became declassified in 2010 or 2011 I would suggest POD's, deck logs, photos, etc. and buddy letters for submission to the VA. Webmaster ussvance.com |
