in 74-75. I was Oil King so I worked directly under Mr. Meisner read about
his passing on the web site
of the Mcdonnell. He had told me about the USS Vance and gave me a book to read about Capt.
Arnheiter by Neil Sheehan in 75. Retired a year ago and started exploring the interner... He was one of the best officers I servered under (Julian Meisner) in the Navy and the Merchant Mearines.. Can't believed he died so young... Thanks to the rest of you guys for duty. Julian was a big influence in my career and my life..and I'm sure you all are part of what I received serving under him years later... Sooooo THANKS SO MUCH!!! J W Redel |
