| Comments : I was on DER-327 in Pearl Harbor and Vance needed an STG for an LPO. There was a recent arrival of an ST2 and he said he would take it because he did not like DER-327. I met him when Vance and Brister tied up along side in VN in 1965. Boy did he have some stories to tell about the C.O. and how he wanted off of it. Never saw or heard from him again. Can't think of his name only he was a STG2 from DER-327 |
