| Comments= I was a Radioman on the Ingersoll when M. A. Arnheiter came aboard as our new Exec. Now, he WAS different!! and brought a lot of needless stress with him. The Ingersoll was a great ship before he got there (in spit of what a certain Lt. wrote which ended up in the CR). I read the book and I reserve judgement. All I can say is that, although I miss the Ingersoll, I was quite happy to leave Arnie behind when I left the ship in June of '64. |
