Comments= Had on my mind story about "Mutiny" in Combat Zone in late 1960's?
I served on DER-329 in Market Time Patrols 02 SEP 65 to 12 FEB 68. Exactly 39-months of service. Newport, RI to Yokosuka, Japan. Never saw anything in print, but being on a DER word just spread. AMW
Addition from a July entry:
Would you believe, I just E-mailed my skipper CDR) on DER-329, I was telling him about the book: The Arnheiter Affair and asked him if he read it. Then I typed in, it that space at the top of the computer screen: n a arnheiter. And a "can of worms" opened up. I re E-mailed my skipper to tell him I was sorry, as "your skipper" and he were classmates at USNA in 1952. I am an E-mail friend of Joseph Betters also. Joseph knows my address in Illinois. .
