This is the Mother Nuckles Coming back at you. I was a
Electrician second class aboard the Vance from january
1963 to December 1965. I took care of the engineering
log room plus did my electrical duties. I set up all
the training for the engineering division. I did all
the tailoring for the crew and loaning out a little
money when the guys came up a little short of money
but didn't make a dime as this was illegal. Ha Ha....
I was discharged in january 1966 after having to stay
an extra 4 months for the draft dodgers. I got on a
plane in San Fran., Calif. coming to Atlanta, Ga. and
the flight attendant would not even give me my food
but did everyone else. You probably heared all the
horror stories as the way we were treated because of
the Vietnam conflict. Two weeks after getting out, I
went to work as a Electrician with Eastman Kodak and I
retired early in December 1999. I got married in April
1966 and we have 4 children. My real name is Billy
