Reasons for reading about the Vance= Vance/Naval history, Other
Comments= As a former crew member of the Koiner DER 331, I'm always interested in checking out what's happened to the old ships we saw on a daily basis. I remember seeing the Vance but only briefly... Koiner was decommissioned at Guam in Aug or Sept of 1968. I think the Thai navy took it over, if memory serves...
Good site. I think this is the only DER site I've found so far. Funny how time sometimes stands still after looking at these photos.
