Reasons for reading about the Vance= Vance/Naval history
Comments= I'll be honest, I came to the site after an office-mate and I were discussing the Arnheiter affair. Having read the book several times, I was very interested to see the different perspective offered on this site.

Overall, I have to say I'm very impressed by the website. What I see here is some great sailors with a lot of pride in their old unit, not to mention a sterling record of wartime performance by a good ship.
