Reasons for reading about the Vance= To find shipmates
Comments= Just checked out the website on the USS Vance, and enjoyed it. Although I didn't serve aboard the Vance, I did serve aboard the USS Ingersoll (DD652) when Lt. Cmdr. Marcus Aurelius Arnheiter was the Executive Officer. I did find and read the book, The Arnheiter Affair, and it really brought back memories! I was trying to sign the guest book, but can't seem to make it work for me.
