Reasons for reading about the Vance= Other
Comments= I was assigned to the USS Wilhoite in Charlston, S.C. when it was recommissioned in 1954. We were then transferred to Seattle in 1955.
All five DER's were finally all stationed at pier 99. I was aboard until my discharge in March, 1958. Many good time were had by all as Seattle was a fine town.
