Comments= I reported aboard the Vance when she returned from deepfreeze . I worked directly for Calvin Jenkins First Class BT. He was the only BT on the ship. He was the Crazy Hawaiian . He knew everything there was to know about the ship and gladly passed it on .
I think it was sometime in 1964 I swapped with someone on Durant, it was going state side for decommissioning. After decommissioning the Durant I served out the remainder of my time on the Koiner. Discharged April 1995
