Not much on the web excites my Dad, but when I told him about your site he was thrilled! My Dad remembers his days on the Vance as if they were yesterday. He has since signed the log (entry 15) and has been contacted by a fellow shipmate. I would like to send you a picture of my Dad "The Oil King" while on the Vance.
