| Comments= My father (Jack Bailey Glover, age 85) served in USS Vance DE 387, during WWII. He was a First Class MM...aft engine room, I think. Would be greatly appreciate any info regarding "living crew members during that time-frame. This is from a second e-mail from Mike: Thanks for putting the "shipmate" reguest out...As dad recounts his time onboard he was the "old guy (I think 23-24 years old) so I guess most of his shipmates would be, at least in their late 70's early 80's now...I keep my fingers crossed.
